Novice Students operate on the first idea that comes to mind without considering alternatives or consequences. Monitor their progress and celebrate their achievements. Help them set realistic and challenging goals that match their interests and abilities. □ Your children need to have tangible academic goals for them to work towards. Help them develop a growth mindset, which means they believe they can improve their skills and abilities with practice and feedback.
